大會有幸邀請到備受尊崇的聯合國前秘書長潘基文擔任主講嘉賓。潘基文在演講中闡述他在聯合國期間的歷程，以及如何將可持續發展提升為各國政府與企業的全球議程重心。潘先生帶領聯合國期間的重點關注事項包括巴黎氣候協議及聯合國可持續發展目標，如今他仍致力推動這些議程的發展。

聯合國第八任秘書長潘基文表示：「全球經濟的軌跡通往日益惡化的全球氣候危機，而最近聯合國政府間氣候變化專門委員會（IPCC）的氣候報告預測將有災難性的未來，顯示這場危機無可避免、史無前例且無法逆轉。《巴黎協定》是應對此類嚴重氣候威脅的最大希望，故此瑞士隆奧等領先金融機構及其區內策略聯盟體系在加緊實施《巴黎協定》的過程中可以發揮關鍵角色。」
